the suggestion box holds laziness & loneliness, hostility

noticing trends that aren’t in the vein of this bloglet.  they are:

  • someone should talk to me, text me, DM me, call me
  • someone should bring me stuff
  • someone should do stuff for me
  • someone should love me and pay attention to me and make me feel important
  • someone should tell him/her off, put him/her in his/her place, otherwise bitch-slap that loser

you must be wondering why i’ve called you all here

so what’s the point? it’s not merely a ‘listicle’ - and definitely  not meant to be a listicle without commentary. at the moment, it’s a mere repository as i find interesting (and even not that interesting) things that people wish someone would make or do.

it’s of great interest to me that people with ideas of their own are waiting around for someone else to enact their ideas. that making stuff is something other people do. that placing an order for a new thingamabob is quite enough effort, thanks.

some of the stuff people are asking for, they can already get if they’re clever enough.

some of the stuff someone far more skilled than i might have to make.

some of the stuff would be fun to mock up just to, you know, mock up.

and i’m not gonna lie - some of it is just to be mocked.

so - comment, if you will. what’s already out there that answers these folks twitter-based pleas? what sounds like fun and we should make? what motifs emerge as we catalog these requests?
